At One Broad Street, the well-being of our guests is our number one priority and we have taken a number of steps to ensure you a safe and comfortable stay!
Our unique, digital check in system means there is very little face to face contact required with our guests, and our 24/7 virtual guest support offers a contact-free service without compromising on hospitality.
We do not have any shared guest facilities, further limiting the chance of contact with others during your stay. All of our rooms have small kitchenettes so you can prepare your own food or simply order in using our in-room smart tablet.
We have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and implemented heightened safety standards and enhanced cleaning protocols.
Here are the main steps we are taking to keep our guests and team members safe:
Emails are sent to prior to arrival to notify guests of social distancing, and where to seek further advice/medical attention.
We have signage on the premises reminding guests of safe distancing & hygiene practices
We ask our guests to wear face coverings when in communal areas
Digital self check-in allows contact free arrivals & departures
Wall mounted hand sanitizer gel dispensers have been placed in communal areas and we will keep these stocked subject to availability from suppliers.
Guest and team members should use hand sanitizer when entering and exiting the building
Where 2m distancing is not possible i.e passing on stairs/hallways, then it’s recommended to pass back to back and with face coverings in place.
Guest should report to us if they experience any covid-like symptoms
If a current guest reports symptoms then they will be asked to return to their own home to self isolate in line with government guidelines. The room they occupied will be left vacant for 3 days. After this period the room will be deep cleaned before further guests are able to arrive.
We use a professional cleaning contractor and have a dedicated housekeeping supervisor with extremely high standards.
Cleaners will follow the government guidance on cleaning in non-healthcare settings which has been provided to them.
All cleaners have appropriate PPE including face masks and gloves to be worn where practical.
Cleaners will open any room windows where possible in advance of a guest stay for additional airflow.
All surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival with an added emphasis on high touch surfaces such as door knobs, light switches, remote controls etc.
All kitchen items are washed thoroughly between stays, whether they have been used or not
Linens and towels are professionally washed on a high heat, with added sanitisation.
All consumables are replaced before each stay.
Fabric items such as mattresses, pillows, cushions, carpet, chairs and other furniture are sprayed with an approved sanitising solution, which is effective in killing Covid-19 but otherwise harmless to you.
For stays of 4 nights or more we will offer an opt-in service for mid-stay cleans. Guests should inform us if they would like the room cleaned and/or linen change at any point after their 3rd night.
Guests will need to vacate the room if cleaners have to enter.
